OAHN Equine Network Project: ResearchONEquine Website
Ontario hosts a vibrant and accomplished population of research scientists in the many fields of animal health, but until 2019, there was no online source to highlight the achievements and contributions specific to equine veterinary science.
The Ontario Animal Health Network Equine network, in collaboration with the Ontario Association of Equine Practitioners, created a website platform to help increase research awareness and to connect researchers from academia, industry and government with the ultimate goal of improving the lives of all equines. From a list of researchers and recent publications to advertisements for employment opportunities and available funding, the website will provide a central hub to support and grow equine research and, ultimately, Ontario’s equine industry.
