Ontario Rabies Update for September 6 – 2 New Cases

2 new cases of presumed raccoon strain rabies this week, occurring in a raccoon from the Hamilton area and a raccoon from Haldimand County.  

We are currently at 357 cases of raccoon strain, and 11 cases of fox strain rabies in Ontario to date (Since December 2015).
