Ontario Rabies Update for August 23 – 3 New Cases

2 new cases of presumed raccoon strain and 1 case of presumed fox strain rabies this week.  The raccoon strain cases are from 2 raccoons in the Hamilton area, and the fox strain case is from a skunk in Perth County.

 

We are currently at 354 cases of raccoon strain, and 11 cases of fox strain rabies in Ontario to date.
