Please contact the Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative to report sick or dead wildlife. When possible, carcass submissions allow us to investigate cause of death, screen for diseases and parasites, and gather information pertaining to the health of wild populations.

A veterinarian is on call for this line. Report immediately notifiable diseases, or situations of specific risk, such as unusually high mortality, new or emerging hazards, likelihood of affecting multiple premises or potential for serious human health implications.
Canadian Food Inspection Agency: if a federally reportable disease is suspected, the veterinarian should call their district CFIA office, or may call the emergency line at 1-877-814-2342, where a veterinarian is on call.
